Established in March 1987 as an affiliate of the Chong Kun Dang Group, the company changed its name to Kyongbo Pharmaceutical in 2007 and primarily engages in the business of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products. It markets a wide range of products, including specialty pharmaceuticals such as circulatory drugs and inhalation anesthetics, as well as various over-the-counter medications. The company is also actively expanding into the animal health sector, including medical devices, veterinary medicines, and nutritional supplements. Since 2019, it has added medical devices to its portfolio, diversifying its business and striving to enhance profitability by exploring new areas of opportunity.

We are concentrating our effort on the development of 1st Generic API and Patent challenging API. Especially, we are focusing on the application of cardiovascular, hypertensive, metabolic drugs, antiviral drugs, anticancer drugs and high potency drugs. We are focusing our capability on the development of Platform technologies and the infra construction for new drugs. Also, We are making a great efforts on the venture investment, research networking and joint research activities through open innovation. We are developing finished products through the selection and concentration strategies. We are devoting to develop the specialized new formulation and the platform preparation technologies.
